✦ SUPPORT THE TREVOR PROJECT ✦
Help create a safer future for LGBTQ+ youth.
The Trevor Project does incredibly important work supporting LGBTQ+ young people who may be struggling with their identity, mental health or simply feeling alone.
This is a cause that means a lot to me personally. If you would like to support their work, you can make a donation directly through The Trevor Project.
Every contribution helps support their mission to provide crisis intervention, resources and a safer, more accepting future for LGBTQ+ young people.
A COMMUNITY CLOSE TO MY HEART
For the past four years, I have been openly gay and proud of who I am. Being part of the LGBTQ+ community has become an important part of my life and identity, and it has also shaped the people and communities around me.
Today, around 80% of my social circle is part of the LGBTQ+ community. That has given me the opportunity to meet people with different stories, experiences and perspectives, and has shown me how important it is to have a community where you can truly be yourself.
WHY THE TREVOR PROJECT MATTERS
The Trevor Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending suicide among LGBTQ+ young people. It provides 24/7 crisis intervention and support, while also working through research, education and advocacy to create a safer and more accepting world for LGBTQ+ youth.
Their work resonates with me because I know how meaningful it can be to feel seen, accepted and surrounded by people who understand you.
I believe that nobody should feel like they have to hide who they are, especially when they are still figuring out who they want to become.
CREATING SPACE TO BE YOURSELF
Being openly LGBTQ+ is something I am proud of, and I want my online presence to reflect that.
Through my content and my platforms, I want to help create an environment where people can be themselves, discover who they are and feel less alone.
You don't have to have everything figured out.
You don't have to fit into one box.
You just have to be yourself.
